We also host conferences and public trainings and are committed to the open source data science community.
Scope
We are looking for a Shiny Developer to design, maintain, develop and deploy Shiny apps. You should have previous experience building maintainable, complex apps, front-end design, server-side logic and Shiny modules. You will work closely with clients to gather specifications and requirements and iterate over design and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
Gather requirements and design specification from clients
Develop front-end and server logic for apps
Write tests to ensure app functions as intended
Deploy apps via RStudio pushbutton, git or continuous integration
Maintain applications and respond to feature requests
Requirements
Experience with R and Shiny
Plotting packages such as ggplot2
Data manipulation packages such as dplyr/tidyr or data.table
Working knowledge of Shiny modules
Knowledge of interactive widgets such as plotly, reactable, DT, leaflet
Comfort with git
Fluency in various rmarkdown formats such as html_document, xaringan, pdf_document
Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to do client interactions
Bonus Skills
Experience developing APIs using plumber
Experience with design tools
SQL and databases
Python
Demonstrated end to end project experience
Basic working knowledge on Unix/Linux
Knowledge on RStudio Connect
